Great Aunt Dolores. She is here, but, not for long. I am working on a post about her, and her journey. But, I feel I am rushing it. I will, for now, just say that her hours are numbered. Those on Earth are already mourning the loss of such a great spunky spirit - and those on the other side are anxiously awaiting her arrival. Because life with her is just better.
More to come - later today

It's very hard waiting for that other shoe to drop, knowing what will happen very soon... I am sending love to you and your family and hoping that Great Aunt Dolores is comfortable and surrounded by those who love her.
Dang
Been there and done that. Well cherish her while shes here then her memory when shes gone.
Ditto to what tangobaby said. I've been visiting a few blogs on this July 1st and it is interesting to note that a significant proportion of them are touching on death in one way or another . . . ?? Love and light to Aunt Dolores and to you and your family.
beautiful...Jules, our thoughts are with her... will tune it later
thinking about you and your family...
i agree with Julie. Its very tough. And no words seems to fit the incredible people we have in our life either, and as writers nothing seems to be good enough.
I await the post, and hope that all is well.
I can see the spunky spirit in her eyes. I also hope she is comfortable and in the company of her family.

Ah these last hours are so tough. A time to remember, a time to celebrate, a time to prepare to mourn..in life we are in death.
Hugs to you xx
she looks and sounds like a great lady! you can almost tell just by looking at her eyes... that she has lots of stories and life experiences to share!
Embrace and cherish every last drop of time with her. My thoughts are with you.
thank you all so much. Hubby just went to visit her tonight - to say his goodbyes to his great aunt (by marriage). She was awake, and pretty alert, although slightly confused.
He was able to say good-bye. He said she is ready to go. Can't wait actually. I would like to go this way - joking with those around you, and ready, not scared.
Jules...those who cherish life will move forward and embrace what is to come. It's a journey....my love to you and your family.
