Tonight I will be on Lake Bemidji pushing a dragon through the wind.
Every summer our town hosts the dragon boat races
(see link above).
This year Dearest and I ended up on a team.
Tonight is the first practice.
The weather is calling for wind gusts up to 16 mph -
On an open lake -rowing- this kind of wind can be an issue.
Maybe I should find a wet suit :)
I will update you more as things progress - the races are this Saturday.

Uhhh yeah, good luck with that! I have done it and it is AWESOME but I did it on a sunny day on a river in England.. no wind. Hope you have strong shoulders.... and lots of beer it's a prerequisite!!!
