I would rather

I would rather live my life as if there is a God,

and die to find out
there isn't,

than live my life as if there isn't,

and die to find out there is.

Facinating! I've got a back-and-forth with another Blogger who's adamently against religion, and while I cannot adhere to any particular System, I beleive that there's two certainties 1) we cannot know the nature of the Devine, any more than the cat can know why I'm tapping on this keyboard (yes, I'm presently being harrassed for attention!:)) and 2) faith is good for the psyche!

Jules...fantastic thought provoking statement and picture. The definition of faith is :" The confident belief or trust in the truth of what is trustworthiness of a person, idea or thing." If you break that down. Faith doesn't tell you what to believe in but it says you have to have faith in something.

What an amazing photo...I still have a beautiful maple leaf from your house pressed in the Country Living Book you gave me on my visit.

Have you read Spud's post on the God visit? Nice conversations on the topic of faith.

Have a blessed day dear friend!

Beautiful picture and I loved your thought for the day. Good to have a reminder. Our time is so short on this earth. Make every day count.
