What to do today?
Today is a day off. The kids have an extended weekend (due to MLK day) and here I am still in my pj's drinking coffee. Dearest and wee one #1 are at the fish house showing a neighbor what "spearing" is all about. (I will have to do a post of fishing from a fish house soon!)
The possibilities are endless for me/us today. Yet, here I am in my p.j.'s. Maybe doing nothing on a day when you can do anything is better. Life is too rushed, we are always trying to DO something and not just BE.
I guess I won't plan the day - I will just let it unfold....
This is NOT me, I don't wake up with lipstick on :) Nor am I a blond- but you DO not want to see me right now (dearest said I looked like Medusa this morn'....yeah.... )

Fish house? I am so jealous. Living in the desert I am miles away from any fishing hole.
The fishing was good - speared two Northern Pikes. The idea of letting the day unfold worked great! I made a pot of soup (a must have in the cold) and our neighbor/cousin came over with the two kids and we ate and played and visited.... lovely day so far! Now I think I am off to snooze and read - my book is slow going, but, I will pursue on.
Hi Jules, I am a fellow Minnesotan. Down here it was a pleasant day. I would stay in my pj's as long as I could if I had the chance. Nice to meet you, : )
