I have a stat counter, and I use it

Hellllllo Virginia Beach, Virginia
You are sure interested in me.  Out of the 100 visits my site meter shows you represented 21 of those visits, that is almost 1/4 of all of my visits!

A big Howdy going out to Mountain View, California  you've been by 10 times out of the 100 showing - an even 1/10th of my visits are from you.  I feel like I should be offering you a beverage and snacks when you come in  ;)

People come to my blog using Google Image search quite often, but they most come for this pic:

Keywords that have been searched:

Ahhhh yes, the fun of a stat counter, (and the fact that I just used it to fill a post)

I guess I should look at the stuff, but I don't. I have no idea who visits or where they come from unless they leave a comment. I can see why that photo may draw people in, it is quite provocative! It's good to have you back.

Some things I learned while perusing this post (and some of your most popular previous posts):

I have actually been in youtr town (Bemidji) a number of times (not knowing you lived there, of course)! When I first went to work at Ford as a product development engineer, we would bring our trucks to Bemidji every winter to conduct cold weather testing. I thought I knew COLD from living in Michigan -- but Bemidji gave cold a whole new meaning for me! (No wonder you ended up with 4 kids -- what else ya gonna do on those bone chilling nights but...!) ;-D

I need to be more discrete in stalking you now that I know you have the ability to track my visits to your blog! lol

Women are "catty". Who knew?!

You look REALLY hot in that pic of you dancing in the rain! Yeah, yeah, I know -- you SAID it was someone else, but I wasn't just born yesterday! (So, just let me have this fantasy, OK?!) ;-D

Next time you have to write a "real" post!

Happy Humpty-Dumpty Day, Jules!

Good afternoon Jules,

You could be misled by a stat counter. More times than I care to think about, I have had a window open on someone's blog, minimized it for some reason and forgot I had done so. Looking at a counter person we think I'm hanging out there, when that's not the case. I'm sure there are plenty of other examples. Just a thought

Interesting, but I don't know if your Mountain View visitor wants coffee- that's usually google's indexer, lol.

If it is, just send that coffee my way!
