Good Night Sweetheart

My dearest and I are apart a lot. We are often in the same town and even more often we are under 15 minutes away from each other. I have become quite self sufficient. I even enjoy some quite evenings to myself. However, there are times when I miss him and I feel very alone. I am about to turn in early and want to wish him a good night.

This song has been a favorite of mine forever (me and everyone else right?) I was thinking about a favorite night of mine. We were leaving a friends wedding dance and this song came on. We were in the grassy yard walking away from the reception tent to our vehicle. We paused and danced in the dew covered grass by the light of the moon. It was sweet and as close to romantic as we have probably ever come.

I go to sleep with this sweet memory. Good night my dear. See you in the morn'
