Do I dare believe?

Welcome, wild harbinger of spring!
To this small nook of earth;
Feeling and fancy fondly cling
Round thoughts which owe their birth
To thee, and to the humble spot
Where chance has fixed thy lowly lot.
- Bernard Barton, To a Crocus

Pics taken by me - around my yard.... do I dare believe Spring is here?
It snowed 38 inches April 25th last year. I remain skeptical.

I totally agree about feeling skeptical...I remember last year's April, it was awful all month...
in fact,I remember it was one of the very last days of the month, you and Tiffany met up on the super snow-filled day over at the resort place...cuz the night before I had to spend the night at their house due to all the snow!!

i'm looking forward to playing with kids outside now... :)

ps. i checked out the transatlantic adventure...very cool idea!! I love it!

Please let it be so :) I have been searching for signs myself. Growing up, the crocuses were amongst the first signs with tulips soon after. Thanks for sharing yours with me.

The song birds had a bad time of it last spring because it was so cold they couldn't find bugs to eat. It MUST be spring!

I still haven't seen the crocus and we're lower than you! Could be we are under water again but there are still high areas. Must continue the hunt as I am so optimistic that the snow is gone for good!

Yes, dare to believe it. I'm tired of snow and it's not going to return. No, no, no. Maybe a bit of rain, but none of the powder. It's forbidden - I forbit it. I need sun and a tan.

These flowers are beautiful and I hope they're there to stay! Spring is back in London now as well...
