The Next Place

Great Aunt Dolores. She is here, but, not for long. I am working on a post about her, and her journey. But, I feel I am rushing it. I will, for now, just say that her hours are numbered. Those on Earth are already mourning the loss of such a great spunky spirit - and those on the other side are anxiously awaiting her arrival. Because life with her is just better.

More to come - later today

It's very hard waiting for that other shoe to drop, knowing what will happen very soon... I am sending love to you and your family and hoping that Great Aunt Dolores is comfortable and surrounded by those who love her.

Ditto to what tangobaby said. I've been visiting a few blogs on this July 1st and it is interesting to note that a significant proportion of them are touching on death in one way or another . . . ?? Love and light to Aunt Dolores and to you and your family.

i agree with Julie. Its very tough. And no words seems to fit the incredible people we have in our life either, and as writers nothing seems to be good enough.

I await the post, and hope that all is well.

I can see the spunky spirit in her eyes. I also hope she is comfortable and in the company of her family.

thank you all so much. Hubby just went to visit her tonight - to say his goodbyes to his great aunt (by marriage). She was awake, and pretty alert, although slightly confused.

He was able to say good-bye. He said she is ready to go. Can't wait actually. I would like to go this way - joking with those around you, and ready, not scared.
